Young, racing star dominates Rotax Max Challenge in 2010 to set new records in break out season and earn the #1 National Ranking.
With less than three years to his credit, Anthony Gangi Jr. has amassed a stellar racing resume. As one of North America's top young karting talents, the ten-year-old racer is at the top of his game and threat to win every time out. Developing the skills to win has been the focus and commitment for the driver from Brookville, NY as he looks to set new records in the toughest karting series in North America. With four major titles in 2010, a break out season for Gangi Jr. is just the beginning for this talented young racer who is laser focused on being the best he can be each time he hits the track.
2009 marked the first full season of racing for Anthony Jr., a year in which he took titles including the North East Micro Max Championship and the New York State Rotax Micro Max Championship. The rookie driver showed early signs of natural talent as the G7 Motorsports Team focused on keeping up with the rapid of development set out by Gangi Jr. With success came expectation and in 2010 Anthony Jr. did not disappoint.
As the G7 Motorsports team driver, Anthony Gangi Jr. wrapped up a stellar 2010 championship season that included four major titles. The year began with the 2010 Florida Winter Tour Micro Max Championship and was followed by the United States Rotax Grand Nationals title in Rotax Micro Max. Back in the New England area, the year wrapped up with the 2010 Rotax Northeast Regional RMax Series Micro Max Championship and the 2010 New York State Rotax Micro Max Championship. The final major title to be awarded was the #1 National Rotax Ranking that takes in all Rotax RMax Challenge certified events across the US. From a field of over 100 racers, Anthony Jr. was able to secure the top spot in the National Rankings to carry the #1 plate in the 2011 season.
Building a strong support team is part of building racecraft in today’s modern world of motor sport. The G7 Motorsports Team utilizes the potent CRG Big Al Cadet chassis designed by Jon Nevoso. Nevoso is part of Gangi Jr’s program as a driving and chassis consultant. Full time coach and tuner Chris Perez has been a big part of the effort that saw Gangi Jr. win across the US national karting scene against the nations top drivers. Adding to the program is Mike Doty Racing who will help with World Karting Association Daytona Kart Week, where Anthony Jr. will be running in the Yamaha and Comer classes.
2011 will be a year of high expectations, big challenges and tough competition. Under the pressure of being the driver to beat is Anthony Gangi Jr. thrives.
Motorsports Goals:
Short Term: In 2011 I am looking to repeat as National Champion in Rotax Micro Max and defend my Florida Winter Tour title as well as win races in my rookie season at the WKA Manufacturer's Cup events.
Long Term: To become a paid racer, and race professionally

In his first full season of racing, Anthony Jr. became the NorthEast US Rotax Micro-Max Champion. He also qualified third for the 2009 US Rotax Grand Nationals. In 2010 his early results look very promising as he has earned the 2010 Florida Winter Tour Rotax Micro-Max Championship.

Helping develop the vital driving skills of a young driver, Chris Perez works both as Anthony Jr's driver coach and tuner. At the track, G7 Motorsports also partners with Jon Nevoso and is also supported by the fine products by HoleShot Drive Systems as well as PKT Axles. Finally, Anthony looks to his close friend Joe Fredericks as a mentor.
2011 Program:
In 2011, the G7 Motorsports racing team plans on defending the Rotax Micro-Max Championhip at the world-known Florida Winter Tour Rotax Max Challenge. G7 Motorsports will also compete in the TaG Cadet class on the Formula Kart Weekends of the FWT. Following the winter season, Anthony Jr. will battle at home to defend his North East Rotax Micro-Max Championship, and contend in the U.S. Rotax Max Grand Nationals. Also in the works, the team plans on competing in the Rotax Pan American Championship, Eastern Canadian Karting Championship, and select events in Quebec, Canada and Jamaica.
