ANTHONY GANGI JR. HEADS TO HOMESTEAD TO TAKE ON MINI ROK

Brookville, New York - Anthony Gangi Jr., a member of the GT7 Motorsports kart racing team, has been in full testing mode since the checkered flag dropped a few weeks ago in West Palm Beach, Florida. The ten-year-old racer from New York City is preparing for another assault on the Vortex Mini Rok class at the upcoming Florida Winter Tour (FWT) round taking place this weekend at the Homestead Karting Complex. The permanent parking lot track offers racers a much different racing venue than the other two stops on the FWT calendar. As the southern most region of Florida, racers are hoping the Miami area offers up some warm weather to match the intense on track action. The GT7 team has been working flat out on the new Tony Kart Cadet package that they debuted in the opening round of the Tour. Anthony Jr. and long time tuner Chris Perez will again be joined by Gary Willis as the trio look to hit the podium for the first time in the FWT Mini Rok class.

"The whole team is very excited about this weekend at Homestead. Anthony Jr. was really fast in both trips to the Super Nats in the Mini Rok kart," comments Anthony Gangi Sr. "Obviously there are some small similarities between the Rio and the track at Homestead so we are looking for a good weekend. We have been working hard on the new Tony Kart Cadet package both in the engine shop and on the track."

The team took the opportunity between FWT events to test at the Homestead track in preparation for the second of three double-header weekends on the 2012 FWT calendar. The opening weekend had some challenges for Gangi Jr., who took 21st in the Saturday final after contact while in second place send him back to 27th. On Sunday a win in the prefinal came with a five-position penalty. Gangi Jr. was able to get himself to the front and battle for the lead ending up fifth at the line. This weekend Gangi Jr. will head into Homestead sitting eighth in the points standings.

"I really know we can do well at Homestead. I like the track and the testing we did was really, really good," comments Gangi Jr. "We had some bad luck in the opening weekend so I am hoping I can make up some ground this weekend. The Tony Kart Cadet is great and my tuner Chris (Perez) is amazing. I have really enjoyed working with Gary (Willis) and I think my driving is getting better."

Anthony Jr. will return to Florida Winter Tour action this weekend at the Homestead Karting Complex. Fellow GT7 Motorsports team driver Dylan Tavella will join Anthony Jr. as they both take on the Vortex TaG Cadet Class. That will be followed a week later as Gangi Jr. returns to Mini Max and Tavella continues his run in Micro Max.

The GT7 Motorsports Team is proud to be a Tony Kart dealer, Vortex and a Rotax Max Service Center for the US North East. A new team website will be launched shortly with a complete e-commerce application. TOUGH OPENING TO FWT MINI MAX PROGRAM FOR ANTHONY GANGI JR.

Brookville, New York - Anthony Gangi Jr., a member of the GT7 Motorsports kart racing team, will be glad to put Palm Beach International Raceway in his rear view mirror as he sets his sights on the next round of the Florida Winter Tour. A tough and challenging weekend of Mini Max racing had the former FWT Micro Max Champion looking for answers as he was hit with both technical problems and some sporting challenges. Looking to kick off his rookie campaign in Mini Max with solid results, Gangi Jr. will triple his efforts to get back some lost ground in the next double-header weekend taking place in four weeks time at the Homestead Karting Complex.

"It was definitely a tough weekend for Anthony and the crew. We fell behind early, loosing speed throughout Saturday. We found the problem and hoped to be better on Sunday," comments Anthony Gangi Sr. "I think getting behind had us all trying too hard and that created some additional challenges we brought on ourselves. The great thing about racing is that there is always another race to go to."

The opening weekend of the Rotax Max classes started off well with Friday qualifying producing a solid effort as Anthony Jr. went 12th quickest in both timed sessions among the 60-kart field. Heading straight to the prefinal and avoiding the LCQ was a great debut into the very stacked Rotax Mini Max field.

In Saturday round one racing action Gangi Jr. lost ground in the prefinal from his sixth row starting spot as he seemed to lack speed throughout the race. In the final Anthony Jr. again slipped backwards and finally retired several laps early, classified in 22nd place. The GT7 Motorsports team went to work deep into the evening hours and discovered a fuel delivery problem was the cause of the lost engine output. With new parts in place, the team was excited to make up lost ground on Sunday.

Sunday would see Anthony Jr. take to the prefinal from row six and look to move forward quickly. A brilliant start had the Rotax Mini Max rookie avoid the turn one melee and slip in the sixth spot to close out lap one. Working with the chase pack, Gangi Jr. would see the black flag on lap seven while running in sixth place. The result of the early retirement was a 32nd starting position for the final. In the final a very motivated Anthony Jr. again showed his speed by taking his Tony Kart up to 17th at the checkered flag. While not a great result, the tremendous move forward was what the GT7 Motorsports team needed to cap off the weekend.

"Saturday's engine problems really got us behind. We kept searching for the problem and changed stuff we probably didn't need to change. The team did an amazing job finding and fixing the problem," comments Gangi Jr. "Sunday was just me trying too hard. It's never fun talking to the officials about your driving. I was really happy with the run in the final. The kart was hooked and I just needed more laps to get into the top ten. I want to thank my mechanic Chris (Perez) for all of his hard work and my driver coach Garett (Grist) for his help. And also my dad and everyone at GT7 for supporting me all weekend long."

Another GT7 driver having a good run was Micro Max rookie pilot Michael Gangi. On Saturday 'Mikey' took ninth in the LCQ and grabbed sixth in the B Main. On Sunday a great drive from the back of the LCQ grid saw Michael finish fifth and earn a trip to the prefinal where he took an impressive 21st place in the 34-kart field in his first national level prefinal race. The final was another good run as the eight-year-old rookie cadet driver completed all the scheduled laps and crossed the stripe in 25th place.

Anthony Jr. will return to Florida Winter Tour action in February as the tour heads to the southern most regions of the Sunshine State and takes on the Homestead Karting Complex.

ANTHONY GANGI JR. SOLID IN OPENING WEEKEND OF FWT

Brookville, New York - Anthony Gangi Jr., a member of the GT7 Motorsports kart racing team got his 2012 campaign underway with lots of speed, but only mixed results to show for the weekend. The third year racer made the trek to Palm Beach International Raceway in Jupiter, Florida to open up the first weekend of the 2012 Florida Winter Tour, using the opportunity to get a head start on the winter racing season. With 35 karts in the Vortex TaG Cadet class, the competition was tough and the racing action was close as everyone was looking to kick off the season with a win. The GT7 Motorsports crew had two karts in the Vortex TaG Cadet class with Gangi Jr. looking to keep his 2011 late season momentum going into 2012. The weekend offered up two very different final races, delivering a mixed bag of results and some karting karma coming into play in the Sunday feature.

"The goal was to open the season with some strong results and get off on the right foot. The switch to Tony Kart has been good and we did some preseason testing to be ready for the start of the Florida Winter Tour," comments Anthony Gangi Sr. "The speed was there this weekend, just not the luck we needed. Saturday was a racing deal and we got a bit of break on Sunday with the red flag."

In Saturday round one qualifying it was Gangi Jr. going eighth quickest overall in the timed session. In the prefinal a nice run saw Gangi Jr. get back some spots to take fifth at the line and sit on the inside row for the final. In the final a nice start had Gangi Jr. up into third spot on lap two and looking to make a move to the front. While looking to overtake another kart, contact was made as the two drivers battled for position, moving Gangi Jr. back to 27th place in the field. Anthony Jr. was able to get going again and moved up to 21st before the checkered flag flew.

Sunday was a new day and a better qualifying effort with Anthony Jr. this time going fourth quickest in the combined timed results. A fantastic drive would see Gangi Jr. cross the line first in the prefinal only to be handed a four-position penalty for passing under yellow. Starting from fifth, the final was an excellent race with Gangi Jr. leading the field in the mid section. In the closing stages Gangi Jr. lost several spots as the lead group drafted by at the end of the long straight. Anthony Jr. was able to get back several spots in the next two laps only to be spun around from behind in the last corner. The field had gone red as the checkered flew taking the final results for the race back to the previously completed lap. This gave Gangi Jr. fifth in the final results and saving his weekend.

"Saturday's crash in the final was definitely a racing deal. Both of us wanted the same spot at the same time. It was probably a bit early to get that racy," comments Gangi Jr. "Sunday was a different deal. I made my way back up to fourth in the final lap only to get dumped in the final corner. The track went red before everyone crossed the line so they used the last lap, which gave me fifth. That was a break we needed. I am really excited about this weekend and making my Mini Max debut at the Florida Winter Tour. It's going to be tough but I am really looking forward to the challenge. My younger brother Mikey will be racing this weekend and that's very cool. I will definitely be watching him all weekend long."

Anthony Jr. will return this weekend to compete in his first season of Rotax Mini Max action as he takes on the Florida Winter Tour Rotax Max portion. Gangi Jr. has been stellar during the Rotax weekends at the FWT taking the Rotax Micro Max title in 2010 and then securing third in the championship in 2011. In his first attempt in Mini Max at the FWT, Gangi Jr. knows he will be in tough against a very deep field. Also under the GT7 Motorsports tent will be Dylan Tavella taking in his second season in Rotax Micro Max. Tavella will be joined in Micro Max by first year racer Michael Gangi.

The GT7 Motorsports Team is proud to be a Tony Kart dealer, Vortex and a Rotax Max Service Center for the US North East. A new team website will be launched shortly with a complete e-commerce application. ANTHONY GANGI JR. YEAR END REPORT

Brookville, New York - The G7 Motorsports team, along with driver Anthony Gangi Jr., put the wraps on an outstanding, yet challenging third season of racing as they ended the year just as it started; on the podium. Running in five different classes in four different series, 10-year-old Gangi Jr. criss-crossed the United States looking to build on a stellar 2010 campaign. Anthony Jr. was able to hit the podium on 14 occasions in 2011, racking up seven major victories through the Florida Winter Tour, WKA Manufacturer's Cup Series, Pan American Challenge, US Rotax Grand Nationals and the SuperKarts! USA SuperNationals.

"We knew that 2010 would be a tough year to follow. It really was a dream season," comments Anthony Gangi Sr. "We ran a lot of different races and different packages this year to broaden our program. We learned a ton and had some great results along the way. The move to Mini Max at the end of year was good preparation for the 2012 season."

The 2011 season started at the Florida Winter Tour with Anthony Jr. running in both the TaG Cadet and Rotax Micro Max classes. In the TaG Cadet class, Gangi Jr. finished inside the top ten in all six rounds with a fourth place finish in the series opener being his best result. That effort earned him fifth place in the overall TaG Cadet Championship in his first series run in the Vortex Mini Rok package. In Micro Max, Anthony Jr. was looking to defend his 2010 class title and opened the series with double podiums in January at the Orlando Karting Complex. In round two Saturday racing action disaster struck as Gangi Jr. was shown the wrong flag while leading the field into the final laps and exited the track a lap early suffering a 27th place finish. The 2010 Micro Max National Champion bounced back the next day to take second in Sunday round. Heading into the final weekend, Anthony Jr. had a shot at the title but knew he needed a stellar weekend to close the gap. A hard fought final run at the Ocala Gran Prix saw the young driver take sixth and third in the final weekend to secure third overall in the Micro Max class championship.

Another solid series for Gangi Jr. was the reformed Pan American Challenge, were he earned three wins in four starts in the Micro Max class, including a sweep of the weekend at Michiana Raceway Park. The other finish was a second place, putting Gangi Jr. at the top of the Micro Max standings heading into the Finale. The G7 Motorsports team decided to move to the Mini Max class for the Finale taking place at New Castle Motorsports Park. While the results where mixed, the team learned what they need to do to be competitive in 2012.

Next up was a trip west, where Anthony Jr. had a solid US Grand Nationals held at Miller Motorsports Park in Utah as he ran at the front of the field all week long. In the prefinal the 2010 National Champion ran a perfect race as he took the win and led the field from pole in the final event of the weekend with a second national title on the line. Anthony Jr. would lead the opening eight laps of the final then moved to second for a last dash to the checkerd flag. In the end Gangi Jr. had to settle for fourth, leaving his charge one corner too late.

The G7 Motorsport Team wrapped up the year with a trip to the SKUSA SuperNationals XV held at the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada. Anthony Jr. was on pole for the Super Sunday final in his first visit in 2010 and wanted to back up that performance in 2011. And back up that performance he did, as Anthony Jr. ran great all weekend, running at the front throughout the heat races and taking third place in the red-flag shortened race earning a trip to the post race podium.

"The mistake at the Florida Winter Tour was defiantly the low point of the season. That cost us a second title for sure," smiles Gangi Jr. as he prepares for 2012. "I think the high point might be the SuperNationals. Getting on the podium this year was great."

2012 has big changes in store for G7 Motorsports as they rebrand to become GT7 Motorsports with the addition of cadet driver Dylan Tavella to the program. Also, the team will make the switch to the Tony Kart chassis beginning with the 2012 Florida Winter Tour as team looks to extend it's success and build their racing program. Both Dylan and Anthony Jr. will be in action for both weekends of 2012 Florida Winter Tour racing taking on the Formula Kart classes in TaG Cadet and then the Rotax weekend in Micro Max with Dylan and Mini Max with Anthony Jr.

"Everyone is really excited about 2012. This is a very exciting year for Dylan," comments GT7 Motorsports principal Phil Tavella. "Teaming up with Anthony Jr. will be great for our program and I am excited about the direction we are taking with the move to Tony Kart."

The GT7 Motorsports Team is proud to be a Tony Kart dealer, Vortex and a Rotax Max Service Center for the US North East. A new team website will be launched shortly with a complete e-commerce application. ANTHONY GANGI JR. PODIUMS IN RETURN TRIP TO SUPERNATS

Brookville, New York - The G7 Motorsport Team, along with team driver Anthony Gangi Jr., proved that their strong run at the 2010 SuperNats was no fluke. This past weekend the SuperKarts! USA SuperNationals XV hit the temporary karting circuit at the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino parking lot with a full field of 81 Vortex Mini Rok drivers in the TaG Cadet class. Anthony Jr.'s A Main pole position from one year ago was followed up this year with a third place finish in a red flag shortened Feature Race. This SuperSunday was another hard fought battle with Gangi Jr. starting from inside row four and looking to hit the podium before the checkered flag flew. Making up ground early, Gangi Jr. held onto his third place spot in the two-lap shootout to earn a trip to the podium. The Mike Doty Racing prepared Hasse cadet kart was solid all weekend as Gangi Jr. strung together a series of solid heat races and an excellent A Main Feature race. Making the A Main feature was a feat in itself with just 40 karts making the SuperSunday Feature and the rest heading home after the LCQ.

"We are really happy to be on the podium. Last year was a heartbreaker being on pole for the main and then getting spun out early," comments Anthony Gangi Sr. "Anthony Jr. did an excellent job running three solid heat races to keep himself in contention. He and Chris (Perez) did a nice job getting the kart ready to rock for the final. Mike Rameraz did a really nice job on the engines. We had excellent power all weekend. This was a great way to cap off the 2011 season."

A disappointing qualifying effort had Gangi Jr. sitting 16th quickest after the two groups were combined. That result would give him a starting spot on row eight for all three heat races. Heat one was a solid run with Gangi Jr. taking fifth at the line to start off the critical heat races with a nice finish. Heat two saw Gangi Jr. tied up in traffic with seventh the best he could muster at the line. The third heat was another good run with Anthony Jr. running patient and taking another top five finish with fifth place at the stripe. The combination of heat race finishes earned him a seventh place start for the A Main.

With a full field on a temporary track everyone knew that A Main race would be good. After two attempts to start the race the field went green on the third try with the front staying clean in the opening corners. Gangi Jr. slipped into the sixth spot and looked to gain more as the race moved on. Getting up to fifth on lap six the track was red flagged for an injured driver. After a 40-minute delay the TaG Cadet class was issued a green/white/checkered two-lap shootout. Gangi quickly went to work staying clear of problems and diving into the third spot that he held for the final lap. At the line it was Gangi Jr. making a nice run up five spots in the shortened Feature to take third place and a trip to the podium.

"It was a great week of racing. I really tried hard to stay out of trouble and score some good finishes," comments Gangi Jr. "I really wanted to do better than last year. The final was crazy especially with the two-lap shootout. Getting third place was great. I can't thank my tuner Chris enough for all of his hard work. I also want to thank Mike Doty for all his hard work and excellent driver coaching."

ANTHONY GANGI JR. TO MAKE RETURN TRIP TO SUPERNATS

Brookville, New York - The G7 Motorsports Team, along with team driver Anthony Gangi Jr., have been busy completing final testing and preparations ahead of the SuperKarts! USA SuperNationals XV taking place at the Rio All Suites Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. Last year Gangi Jr. had an amazing run in TaG Cadet as he earned pole position for the Super Sunday Final. Gangi Jr. was the only TaG Cadet driver to complete all three heat races inside the top five, giving him the best score and pole position for the A Main Feature race. While Super Sunday didn't end as the G7 Motorsports Team had hoped, that incredible run in 2010 has them excited about this year's event. The crew have been hard at work testing and training in the Mini Rok TaG Cadet package with the field exploding this year to 82 drivers from 41 in 2010.

"Last year was a complete surprise to us. It was our first trip to the SuperNats and we really didn't have a lot of time in the Mini Rok package," comments Anthony Gangi Sr. "With the field opened up to 82, we have really been working hard on our program. We know the field is going to be very tough with all the best there for one reason. Win."

At last year's SuperNationals XIV, Gangi Jr. went seventh quickest in timed qualification giving him an inside row three starting spot for all three heat races. A solid opening race had Gangi Jr. take fifth at the line for a nice opening score. In heat two Gangi Jr. took full advantage of the race and grabbed the win, scoring the all important bonus point. The third and final heat was another great run for the young pilot as he took second at the stripe. Adding up the heat race results, Gangi Jr. was able to secure an impressive pole position for the Super Sunday A Main Feature race. The Main Event was a hard fought battle as Gangi Jr. led the opening five laps. Running in second place on lap 10, contact saw Gangi Jr. demoted to 16th place. A hard charge in the closing laps would get Anthony Jr. close to the top ten, taking 11th at the line.

"I just can't wait to get back to Vegas," comments Gangi Jr. from trackside in Florida making final preparations. "We got spun out of a possible win last year. My tuner Chris (Perez) and I have been working hard on the Mini Rok and I think we can win it this year."

MORE MINI MAX TESTING FOR ANTHONY GANGI JR.

Brookville, New York - The G7 Motorsports Team, along with team driver Anthony Gangi Jr., have been focused over the last few weeks on their new Mini Max program as they look to close out the 2011 campaign. The team made the move to the Mini Max class at the Pan American Challenge Series Finale held at New Castle Motorsports Park. The 2010 US Grand Nationals Micro Max Champion is looking forward to stepping up into the Mini Max class in 2012. The G7 Motorsport Team has been focused on making the most of their final season in Micro Max and beginning the transition to the hotly contested Mini Max category. Looking to use the Pan Am Finale as a springboard for the 2012 season, Gangi Jr. and the entire G7 Motorsports Team struggled in their first outing, not getting the results they had hoped. The team has been testing and practicing throughout the US Northeast over the past few weeks including a recent test in the Mini Max package at New Jersey Motorsports Park located in Millville, New Jersey to work out some kinks. The crew also tested the Mini Rok package in advance of the SKUSA SuperNationals.

"We had a great weekend testing in Millville in both the Mini Max and Mini Rok karts," comments Anthony Gangi Sr. "I really think we have plugged the holes and made a big step forward in the Mini Max package. It has been a great experience for all of us to have to dig deep and bounce back. This week should be a good test of how far we have come in a short time."

The G7 Motorsports crew will head back to New Jersey Motorsports Park this weekend to compete in the final Northeast US Rotax Max Challenge regional race. Following this weekend's action the team will begin to make final preparations and testing for their second SuperKarts! USA SuperNationals running in the Vortex Cadet class. Last year saw Gangi Jr. run at the front of the field in his first SuperNats.

"The Mini Max is really fast and I enjoy racing it a lot," comments Gangi Jr. "I am really excited to head back to Las Vegas for the SuperNats. My tuner Chris (Perez) and I have been working hard on the Mini Rok and I think we can do really well again this year."

ANTHONY GANGI JR. MOVING UP TO MINI MAX

Brookville, New York - The G7 Motorsports Team, along with team driver Anthony Gangi Jr., will use this weekend's Pan American Challenge Series finale to make their first official appearance in the Mini Max class. New Castle Motorsports Park was the scene of Gangi Jr.'s dramatic US Grand Nationals Micro Max Championship in 2010. Logging lots of miles crisscrossing the country, the G7 Team has been focused on making the most of their final season in Micro Max and beginning the transition to Mini Max. Looking to use the Pan Am finale as a springboard for the 2012 season, Gangi Jr. and the entire G7 Motorsports Team are excited about the move. The PSL Karting CRG driver has been running in several different karting classes in 2011 and is hopeful he can accumulate the same success in Mini Max as he did in Micro Max.

"The change to Mini Max is pretty big for Anthony Jr. He is still pretty small and will need to up his game to handle the higher horsepower," comments Anthony Gangi Sr. "New Castle is a track that we have had some great success on, so it's fitting that we use this weekend to start running in Mini Max. We have been testing like crazy, but you don't know how you stack up until you are racing."

The G7 Motorsports crew took in the recent round of the George Kugler Manufacturer's Cup held this past weekend at NCMP. An up and down weekend saw Gangi Jr. struggle during parts of the weekend as the G7 Team continue work on their Comer Cadet program. Following this weekend's Rotax Pan American Challenge finale the G7 Team will continue to test and prepare for the final event of the season in November. The team will head to Las Vegas to take in their second SuperKarts! USA SuperNationals running in the Vortex Cadet class.

"I am definitely looking forward to racing in Mini Max this weekend," comments Gangi Jr. "It will be cool to race against some drivers I have not raced against before. I like the higher speeds of Mini Max. My tuner Chris (Perez) has been working really hard to get us ready. He has been doing a great job all year."

Brookville, New York - The G7 Motorsports Team, along with team driver Anthony Gangi Jr., are making a return trip to New Castle Motorsports Park, this time to take in the final round of the George Kugler Manufacturer's Cup Series. The Man Cup program brings together many of North America's top two cycle racers as they vie for some of the most prestigious awards in karting. Gangi Jr. will run in the Comer Cadet Sportsman class building on several good runs earlier in the year. New Castle was the site of Gangi Jr.'s biggest win when he took the 2010 US Grand Nationals Micro Max title. Anthony Jr. currently sits 11th in the standings despite only six starts in 2011, making him the highest-ranking driver with just six starts. The PSL Karting CRG driver has been running in several different karting classes in 2011 as he looks to extend his winning resume.

"Heading to New Castle for the Man Cup is really a chance to prepare for the upcoming Pan American race," comments Anthony Gangi Sr. "Anthony really likes the New Castle track and has done well there in the past. The extra seat time will be good. We have been working hard on our Comer program over the past few months. It should be a good weekend."

The G7 Motorsports crew headed to Oakland Valley Raceway Park in New York State this past weekend to run the local club event in the Comer package looking to hit the ground running in New Castle. G7 MOTORSPORTS KEEPING BUSY IN AUGUST

Brookville, New York - The G7 Motorsports Team has been keeping up a hectic schedule of testing and development as all three drivers get seat time and build toward the final races of the 2011 campaign. Team driver Anthony Gangi Jr. (9), was joined throughout the month of August by younger brothers Michael (8) and Dominick (5) as they begin their racing programs. Following in the successful wheel tracks of older brother Anthony Jr., "Mikey" and Dominick are working on cadet and kid kart programs as they log laps and gain speed with each trip to the track. Expanding the G7 Motorsports program has been a big part of the 2011 schedule.

"August was supposed to be an easy month with no really big events, but we have been going flat out every weekend," comments Anthony Gangi Sr. "Mikey and Dominick are doing great and Anthony has been a big help along the way. We are keeping it fun and letting each driver develop at their own pace."

G7 Motorsports focused on Northeastern US regional racing action and a move up to the Mini Max class for Anthony Jr. as he looks toward 2012. Running on the PSL Karting CRG chassis, the multi-time champion has been getting quicker with each session as he learns the high horsepower of the Mini Max engine. The crew headed out to Oakland Valley Raceway Park in Cuddybackville, New York with all three drivers taking in some action throughout the month of August logging loads of laps. ANTHONY GANGI JR SET TO DEFEND NATIONAL TITLE

Brookville, New York - The G7 Motorsports Team, along with team driver Anthony Gangi Jr., are prepped and ready to defend their US National Rotax Micro Max title this weekend. The best Rotax racers from all across the US will head to the high altitude region just outside Salt Lake City, Utah for the 2011 US Rotax Grand Nationals. The G7 Motorsports Team recently made a stop at Miller Motorsports Park to test and prepare for the annual event that will see several drivers added to the Team USA roster. As the defending US National Micro Max Champion, Gangi Jr. knows he is the man to beat and some added pressure comes with defending that title. The G7 Team is fully prepared and ready to claim a second National title. Running the potent PSL Karting CRG Big Al chassis, Gangi Jr. will again rely on PSL prepared engines to lead him to victory. ANTHONY GANGI JR SOLID AT MILLER

Brookville, New York - The G7 Motorsports Team, along with team driver Anthony Gangi Jr., left Salt Lake City, Utah and the 2011 US Rotax Grand Nationals empty handed but not disappointed. The third year racer put on a great performance at Miller Motorsports Park as he led the way in most of all the sessions during the gruelling four-day event. As the man to beat, Gangi Jr. did his best to keep his National crown. In eight official sessions, Gangi Jr. never left the top five showing speed throughout the event.

"We are bummed we didn't win, but we feel great we gave it our best shot. I think Jr. (Anthony Jr.) was great and did an amazing job. I'm proud of the whole team for a great effort all week," comments Anthony Gangi Sr. "Philip (Varner) will be a great champion and our hats off to those guys."

Looking to defend his US National Micro Max Championship, Gangi Jr. led the way throughout the contest taking fifth in qualifying, fourth in the opening heat and then third in the second heat. Keeping on a solid charge Gangi Jr. took second in the final heat putting him third in the heat race rankings. In the prefinal Gangi Jr. ran the perfect race as he took the win in the prefinal and led the field from pole in the final event. Looking to time the draft in the closing stages, Gangi Jr. needed the right partner to make a final last effort in the closing laps. A great four-kart battle left little room for error. Leaving the last dash to the front one corner too long may just have been the difference for Gangi Jr.

"My PSL Karting CRG was great all week long. And we had really good power from PSL as well," comments Gangi Jr. "I really want to thank my tuner Chris Perez for a great weekend. Also helping was Mike Ruiz along with Frenchie (Alex Louet) from PSL Karting. We had all the pieces and just missed the podium."

With the US Grand Nationals now in the books G7 Motorsports will turn their attention to some North Eastern US regional action and a move up to the Mini Max class. Coming up in the next few weeks will be a race at Oakland Valley Raceway Park followed by an event at Englishtown. The crew will then hit F1 Boston for an Rmax race and then to Millville, New Jersey for a WKA Sprint Series event to close out August. Running in all four races will be Anthony Jr. in Comer and Mini Max along with Mikey in Micro Max and Junior Yamaha and Dominick in Kid Kart. In September Anthony Jr. will return to the US Midwest for the WKA Man Cup followed by the Rotax Pan American Challenge finale, both of which are taking place at New Castle Motorsports Park just east of Indianapolis, Indiana. The G7 Motorsports Team is proudly supported by: Millwork Solutions Inc., PSL Karting CRG, Precision Karting Technologies and Hole Shot Drive Systems.

G7 MOTORSPORTS COMPLETES BUSY MONTH

Brookville, New York - The G7 Motorsports Team, along with team driver Anthony Gangi Jr., left the tight and twisty Michiana Raceway Park scoring victories in both feature events. Located near South Bend, Indiana, MRP recently played host to a World Karting Association Manufacturer's Cup event that didn't go according to plan for the multi-time series champion. This weekend Gangi Jr. would use his CRG Big Al chassis from PSL Karting of Trois-Rivieres, Quebec to bounce back and complete a truly remarkable race weekend. Looking for some redemption and a strong outing, Gangi Jr. was at the top of the time sheets throughout the weekend as he set the pace in all timed sessions.

"We definitely love the track but last time here it really kicked our, well you know," states G7 Motorsports Team principal Anthony Gangi Sr. "We took some time off and came looking for a little redemption. Junior was great all weekend and I could not be more proud of him and the team."

The US Midwest is known for wide-open spaces and very unpredictable weather. With excellent conditions in the forecast, at MRP you need only wait five minutes to see that change. Saturday ran under dry conditions with Gangi Jr. taking pole to start off the double-header weekend. Anthony Jr. would back that performance up with a win in the prefinal to sit on pole for the final. A great main event saw the front row drivers swap the lead five times in the 14-lap race. At the line it was Gangi Jr. by 0.135 to take the win.

Sunday saw unsettled weather with rain showers showing up during the day but the Micro Max class was able to run all their scheduled laps in dry conditions. In qualifying it was Gangi Jr. setting the second quickest lap for a front row start in the prefinal. In the prefinal Anthony Jr. drove to the lead, taking the win and grabbing pole for the final. In the final it was the perfect start for Gangi Jr. as he went flag to flag leading all the laps and taking the win 0.216 over second.

"It was my dad's birthday on the weekend. I wanted to get him a win on Saturday as a birthday gift. I am so glad I was able to do that for him," comments Anthony Jr. "I can't thank my mechanic Chris Perez enough for all of his hard work. We also had some great help from Frenchie (Alex Oulette). I also want to thank PSL Karting for great power."

The G7 Motorsports Team will head back to New York state as they make their first appearance at the New Jersey Sprint Series.Making their first official starts will be Michael in Yamaha Sportsman and Dominick in Kid Karts. Both drivers have been testing over the past few months looking to follow in big brother Anthony's wheel tracks.

Brookville, New York - The G7 Motorsports Team, along with team driver Anthony Gangi Jr., have been hard at work preparing for the next round of major karting events taking place throughout the US. Also, G7 has been working with their latest drivers, Michael and Dominick Gangi, as they get up to speed in their first season of racing action. Over the past several weekends the team has been crisscrossing the US as they get ready for three major events to close out the 2011 season. The team tested and took in a local RMax regional event that was cut short due to torrential rains. Gangi Jr. is the defending US National Micro Max Champion and the G7 Team is pulling out all the stops to secure a second National title. The US Grand Nationals will be followed by the Rotax Pan American Challenge finale, which is taking place at New Castle Motorsports Park just east of Indianapolis, Indiana in September.

"We have some more Micro Max events to get completed and want to make sure we are ready to go," comments Anthony Gangi Sr. "It would be great to defend our National title, but we know the field is going to be very tough."

G7 MOTORSPORTS MAKES TREK TO PAN AM

Brookville, New York - The G7 Motorsports Team, along with team driver Anthony Gangi Jr., will make a return visit to the tight and technical Michiana Raceway Park located near South Bend, Indiana. The Midwestern track has been the site of some of North America's top ranked series including the recent round of the World Karting Association Manufacturer's Cup. Anthony Jr. competed in both the Comer Cadet class and the Yamaha Jr. Lite class during the recent WKA stop at MRP. Despite a strong showing at the WKA round held in Kershaw, South Carolina, Gangi Jr. struggled during the weekend and left not getting the results he had hoped for. Heading into this weekend's double-header of Rotax Micro Max action, Gangi Jr. will again pilot his familiar CRG Big Al chassis supplied by PSL Karting of Trois-Rivieres, Quebec.

"We definitely did not have our best outing when we went to MRP a couple of weeks ago. I think everyone was a bit burnt out from the winter racing schedule," states G7 Motorsports Team principal Anthony Gangi Sr. "We took a few weeks off to recharge our batteries. Everyone is really excited to be heading back to the track."

The first eastern US round of the newly reformed Pan American Challenge saw Gangi Jr. hit the podium twice taking the win on Saturday and second on Sunday. Running at the permanent parking track located adjacent to the Homestead-Miami Speedway, drivers had plenty of room for wheel-to-wheel action. The PSL Karting CRG driver recently took fifth place in the 2011 Florida Winter Tour Cadet class and third in the 2011 Florida Winter Tour Rotax Micro Class to kick off a busy 2011 campaign. Using his Chris Perez prepared CRG Big Al chassis with PSL Karting Rotax power, Gangi Jr. was able to keep the action exciting at the front as the team looks to the Pan Am Finale in September.

"I really want to get back to the track and score some good points. The WKA race was not fun," comments Anthony Jr. "I want to show I can bounce back from a tough weekend. My little brothers Mikey and Dominick are getting into some racing this season so I know I have to be a good example for them to follow."

Making their first official start in the coming weeks will be Michael and Dominick Gangi who will be running at the New Jersey Sprint Series. Both drivers have been testing over the past few months, looking to follow in big brother Anthony's wheel tracks.

The G7 crew will head back to Michiana Raceway Park for the second eastern US round of the Pan American Challenge May 20-22 with another double race weekend. Brookville, New York - The G7 Motorsports Team, along with team driver Anthony Gangi Jr., head into the upcoming World Karting Association Manufacturer's Cup event taking place this weekend at Michiana Raceway Park near South Bend, Indiana looking to score podiums in three classes. Making his third start of the 2011 season in Manufacturer's Cup action, Anthony Jr. will again be taking on the Comer Cadet class and both the Yamaha Jr. Lite and Heavy classes. Coming off a really strong outing at the last round held in Kershaw, South Carolina, Gangi Jr. is looking to hit the podium again and to stay in the points hunt. Working with Mike Doty Racing, Gangi Jr. will use the CRG Big Al chassis supplied by PSL Karting for the Cadet class and in the Yamaha classes he will run on a Hasse chassis.

"I'm really excited to get back to Man Cup. I like the Comer and the Yamaha karts," comments Anthony Jr. "My little brother Mikey was hoping to race with me this weekend. That would have been fun. Mikey and Dominick will be racing at home in two weeks. It should be fun."

ANTHONY GANGI JR TAKES TWO PODIUMS AT PAN AM

Brookville, New York - The G7 Motorsports Team, along with team driver Anthony Gangi Jr., returned to the sun soaked state of Florida for one final time in 2011 to compete in the opening eastern qualifier for the Pan American Challenge. The eighth major event in Florida for Gangi Jr. in less than four months saw the 2010 National Micro Max Champion hit the podium twice, taking the win on Saturday and second on Sunday. The PSL Karting CRG driver recently took fifth place in the Florida Winter Tour (FWT) Cadet class and third in the FWT Rotax Micro Max class to kick off a busy 2011 campaign. Using his Chris Perez prepared CRG Big Al chassis with PSL Karting Rotax power, Gangi Jr. kept the action exciting at the front as the team looks to the Pan Am Finale in September. Running at the permanent parking track located adjacent to the Miami-Homestead Speedway, drivers had plenty of room for wheel-to-wheel action.

"It was a good weekend. The grid was down a bit, but the racing was awesome," states G7 Motorsports Team principal Anthony Gangi Sr. "We now have one qualifier weekend in the books, so that puts us a step closer to the Pan Am finale in New Castle."

Beautiful hot weather draped the Miami area as five classes of Rotax took to the permanent parking lot track of Homestead Karting. In Saturday action Anthony Jr. would qualify in the second spot for a front row starting position for the prefinal. A textbook run in the prefinal had Gangi Jr. taking the win to sit on pole for the final. In the final a great battle at the front took 14 circuits of the Homestead Karting track to sort out the winner, with Gangi Jr. first to the flag for top spot on the box. In Sunday action the weather and the racing would heat up as rising temperatures and close competition made for some tough battles. In qualifying it was Gangi Jr. going third quickest to start inside row two. The third year driver followed that up with the win in the prefinal. The final was another great battle as drivers from several countries looked to claim top honors and some bragging rights. At the double checkered it was Gangi crossing in P2 for a second straight podium finish on the weekend.

"It was a great weekend at Homestead. I really like the track," comments Anthony Jr. "It was nice to start off the Pan Am series with a win."

The G7 Motorsports Team will head to the third round of the WKA Manufacturer's Cup series taking place at Michiana Raceway Park located near South Bend, Indiana on April 29-31. ANTHONY GANGI JR COMPLETES SOLID 2011 FWT

Brookville, New York - The G7 Motorsports Team, along with team driver Anthony Gangi Jr., wrapped up the first major karting series in the US, taking third in the final Rotax Micro Max tally just three points shy of second. A couple of tough breaks in the final weekend held at Ocala Gran Prix swung the title from the defending 2010 FWT Micro Max Champion. Going into the race weekend, Gangi Jr. would sit third in points and looked strong as he carried a low score, the result of a marshaling error at the Palm Beach International Raceway round. Needing some luck, Gangi Jr. had a mathematical shot to take a second straight FWT Rotax Micro Max title. The weekend was full of huge highs and incredible challenges while the youngster rallied throughout the weekend to put on a great show. The PSL Karting CRG driver was at the top of the charts throughout the entire tour taking two wins, a second and a third in the six-race campaign. Using his Chris Perez prepared CRG Big Al chassis with PSL Karting Rotax power, Gangi Jr. was a major factor through all three stops in the sunshine state.

"We definitely hate to lose and the last weekend was a tough one. It seemed we couldn't catch a break. The level of competition was amazing this season for sure," smiles Anthony Gangi Sr. "Our hats off to Ramus (Lindh) and James Dean (Laderoute) on their success."

In Friday afternoon qualifying held under beautiful sunny north Florida skies, Anthony Jr. would set fast lap to grab pole for the Saturday prefinal and then take fourth spot for the Sunday prefinal. In Saturday round five racing action, Anthony Jr. took the prefinal win and looked to pad is chances with a win in the final. A great start had Gangi Jr. running at the front until contact sent him off track. Gangi Jr. would then rally from 17th place on lap four to get up to eighth at the line. Post race penalties put him in sixth on the sheets, just ahead of his two main rivals for the title. To close to call, the 2011 title would see the winner of the Sunday final take the championship. On Sunday it was a third at the line in the prefinal but a post race penalty sent Anthony Jr. to fifth, costing him valuable points. In the final a hard fought battle had Gangi Jr. at the front the entire race. A last lap charge put him back to third spot at the line. The results score him third in the 2011 Rotax Micro Max class championship.

"I made a couple of mistakes in the Sunday final. I'm bummed we didn't win but really proud of how well we raced," comments Anthony Jr. "Taking third in Rotax and fifth in TaG is a good start the year. I can't wait for the Pan Am series to start."

The G7 Motorsports Team returns to Florida on April 9 as the first Eastern Round of the Pan American Challenge gets underway at Homestead Karting near Miami, Florida. ANTHONY GANGI JR - FLORIDA WINTER TOUR OCALA FK REPORT

Brookville, New York - The G7 Motorsports Team, along with team driver Anthony Gangi Jr., put the wraps on their maiden campaign in the Florida Winter Tour Vortex TaG Cadet program. Competing in all six rounds, Anthony Jr. was able to take fifth in the final championship point standings. The Florida Winter Tour is running the final weekends for both series at the fantastic Ocala Gran Prix karting circuit. The G7 Motorsports team used the Formula Kart weekend to prepare for the upcoming final round of Rotax Max racing action. In the opening weekend held at Orlando Karting Center, Anthony Jr. took fourth and fifth place in the round one and two finals. The second weekend saw Gangi Jr. give back some points with sixth and tenth place finishes at PBIR. The G7 Team completed several days of testing leading up the final weekend of Formula Kart action. In 2010 Gangi Jr. was able to clinch the Micro Max Championship of the FWT at the Ocala track.

"I think with a little more luck and some more testing we might have cracked the top three," comments Anthony Gangi Sr. "The TaG Cadet weekends were excellent preparation for the Rotax weekends. Junior was able to race against some older drivers and that helps. It was fun to run in that class."

In Saturday round five action Gangi Jr. went seventh on sheets in timed qualifying. That effort was followed by fifth spot in the prefinal race setting up an excellent starting spot for the final. After 16 circuits of the OGP karting complex, Gangi Jr. held on for seventh place in the final among the 23-kart field. On Sunday under sunny skies and warm temperatures it was eighth quickest in qualifying. Contact on lap two of the prefinal saw Gangi retire early, classified as 22nd. Brookville, New York - The G7 Motorsports Team, along with team driver Anthony Gangi Jr., completed a solid weekend of racing in the second round of the World Karting Association Manufacturer's Cup 2011 season. Running with Mike Doty Racing and using Woltjer Engines, Anthony Jr. was able to power his PSL Karting CRG Big Al chassis onto the podium twice in the Comer Cadet class. In Saturday day one action, a great run in the final saw Gangi Jr. break through to score third and hit the podium, his first in WKA action. On Sunday Anthony Jr. would use that momentum to run at the front all day and go one better than his Saturday result. Running double duty on the weekend being held at the Carolina Motorsports Complex near Kershaw, South Carolina, Anthony Jr. would retire early in Yamaha due to contact.

"We are really happy to be on the podium in Comer Cadet. To run against kids three and four years older is fantastic. Our first weekend at Daytona was a mess as we nearly didn't make it to the race. We knew we had speed, it just took an extra weekend for us to show it," smiles Anthony Gangi Sr. "Our Yamaha program needs some work as Junior still needs to learn the bigger kart. He's working hard and that's all we can ask."

The G7 Motorsports team will head down the coast to the ultra smooth Ocala Gran Prix. The final host of the past few years, Ocala Gran Prix is known for a great layout and wonderful hospitality. As one of the top rated venues in North America, OGP always delivers great racing action. The North Florida facility boasts a billiard smooth surface and will be the site of several new championship titles. The G7 Motorsports team will use the up coming Formula Kart weekend to prepare for the final round of Rotax Max racing action. In 2010 Gangi Jr. was able to clinch the Micro Max Championship of the FWT at the Ocala track.

"We struggled at the last round of the Vortex Cadet class held at PBIR. I think we have figured out the problem," comments Anthony Gangi Sr. "Everyone has been working overtime to be ready for Ocala."

New to the G7 program, Vortex TaG Cadet gives Anthony Jr. a different package to run against some different drivers. In the opening weekend held at Orlando Karting Center Anthony Jr. took fourth and fifth. The second weekend saw Gangi Jr. give back some points getting a sixth and tenth place finish at PBIR. In the championship standings it's Gangi Jr. sitting in fifth place and looking to crack the top three in the final weekend of action.

"Comer this weekend in WKA was awesome. My PSL Karting CRG Big Al was perfect all weekend. I definitely want to hit the podium in Ocala. It's one of my favorite tracks," comments Anthony Jr. "The opening round was great and I know we can bounce back. I've been in the top ten in all four finals so I am hoping for a top three."

WKA MANUFACTURERS CUP UP NEXT FOR ANTHONY GANGI JR.

Brookville, New York - The G7 Motorsports Team, along with team driver Anthony Gangi Jr., begin weekend one of a three-weekend stretch of national level kart racing. Following the traditional opening of World Karting Association season with Kart Week at Daytona Beach back in December, G7 Motorsports travels to the Kershaw, SC, home of the Carolina Motorsports Complex the host the second round of WKA Manufacturers Cup action this weekend. Running in the Comer Cadet and the Yamaha Sportsman Can classes with Mike Doty Racing, Anthony Jr. is looking to score against some very strong fields. WKA Man Cup has been the scene of some great racing that includes many of the top sprint kart racers in America.

"It's going to be a busy three weeks that's for sure," comments Anthony Gangi Sr. "We are running two new classes at WKA with Comer and Yamaha. Running two classes is a lot of work but the racing is fantastic."

2011 marks the first season of racing in Comer Cadet and Yamaha Sportsman for the G7 Team. Using Woltjer Engines power for the Comer and Yamaha programs, G7 will use the potent CRG Big Al in the cadet class and run the Hasse 102 in the Yamaha class. This past weekend the G7 Team had a chance to test at the new South Carolina track in preparation for this coming weekends racing action. Great weather and lots of data have Gangi Jr. excited about this weekend's possibilities. Gangi is looking to better his opening weekend of racing at Kart Week. Cancelled flights in New York due to weather forced the G7 Team to drive straight through the night to make to Daytona in time for racing. Gangi Jr. had to qualify with no practice the team had an uphill all weekend long. Making the most of that experience has prepared them well for this weekends racing.

"I had never been to the Carolina track before we tested. Things went well so I'm excited to race there. I love learning new tracks," comments Anthony Jr. "Both Comer and Yamaha are tough classes. It will be great to run against some new drivers as well."

HEARTBREAK FOR ANTHONY GANGI JR. IN WEST PALM BEACH

Brookville, New York - The G7 Motorsports Team, along with team driver Anthony Gangi Jr., experienced the extreme highs and lows of motor racing as a perfect Saturday of racing was marred by heartbreak. The G7 Motorsports Team rallied to bounce back and hit the podium on Sunday round four of racing. After testing at the Palm Beach International Raceway and focusing on the upcoming weekend of FWT Rotax Max action, the G7 Motorsports crew felt they were prepared for all contingencies that may come their way, but a series of marshaling errors led to an unfortunate result for the front running team. Solid results in the opening weekend at the Orlando Karting Center had the team excited about the PBIR weekend as Anthony Gangi Jr. led the points standings heading into the pivotal round.

"I am still speechless. One flagging error I can understand, but three in a row. Someone was not paying attention and it cost all the racers in that final," comments Anthony Gangi Sr. "I do want to thank Bill (Wright) and all the FWT marshaling crew for coming by to talk to us. Mistakes happen and they handled it well."

In Friday afternoon qualifying it was Anthony Jr. taking the pole for both the Saturday and Sunday rounds of racing in the international field of 34 karts. Setting the pace in qualifying had the talented pilot in a perfect position to score well. In the hotly contested Saturday prefinal, Gangi Jr. used his potent CRG Big Al Chassis with PSL power to run at the front, taking fourth place at the line. The Saturday final would not unfold as hoped. Charging to the lead early, Gangi Jr. would be shown the two-to-go flags by the starter on lap eight of what was scheduled to be a 14-lap race. The next lap by, the starter showed the white one-to-go flag as Gangi Jr. again was first to see the flag. The next time by the starter waved the blue flag for lapped traffic. Gangi Jr. believed the race was over and pulled into the pits. He would leave the circuit four laps early and be scored in 27th place. The heart break of losing was offset by the fact that Gangi Jr. knew he had the pace to win and would start the Sunday prefinal from pole.

The new day brought a new set of races and a new chance to hit the podium. In the prefinal Gangi Jr. would take second place and set fast lap of the race. From his front row starting spot Gangi Jr. immediately slipped into the second spot as he looked for his opportunity to take the lead. On lap 11, Gangi Jr. jumped to P1 and look to lead for the final few circuits to the checkered flag. Contact with one lap to go saw Gangi slip to third. The 2010 #1 Ranked Rotax Micro Max driver charged back to take second at the line, hitting the podium for a third time in 2011 FWT Micro Max action.

"It's too bad we lost on Saturday. I will never ever make that mistake again," comments Anthony Jr. "Sunday was a great race and hitting the podium was a fantastic way to put the Saturday race behind us. I think if I was a little more patient I could have won that race."

The G7 Motorsports Team returns to the Florida Winter Tour on March 18th as the series heads to Ocala Gran Prix for the rounds five and six of the Formula Kart classes were Gangi Jr. sits in fifth place in Vortex TaG Cadet. ANTHONY GANGI JR. DOUBLES UP IN FLORIDA

The G7 Motorsports Team, along with team driver Anthony Gangi Jr., drove to double victories to kick off the defense of their 2010 Florida Winter Tour Rotax Micro Max class title. Leading the points tally out of the opening weekend puts Gangi in control of the ultra tough Micro Max class. With a maximum 34-karts in the field, Gangi Jr. had to drive his PSL Karting CRG Big Al kart hard to get to the front of the international field and stand on top of the podium. For 2011 the FWT moved the qualifying sessions to Friday afternoon in order to make time on the schedule for the large class sizes. In the timed qualifying session for Saturday round one racing, Anthony Jr. was 12th on the time sheets. For the second session that set the grid for Sunday's racing action, it was a small improvement to 7th on the grid.

"We knew after the qualifying sessions that Anthony Jr. was going to have to drive himself up to front. We had our good friend Jon Nevoso on the phone all weekend long and that was a huge help," comments Anthony Gangi Sr. "The Micro Max class at Florida Winter Tour is beyond amazing. There are so many fantastic drivers we knew it was going to be tough."

In Saturday round one action Anthony Jr. would put on a nice drive using his PSL Karting prepared Rotax power plant to cross in 3rd in the prefinal and set fast lap of the race in the process. From his inside row two starting spot Gangi Jr. drove a smart race battling with the Canadian National Champion right to the final turn. At the line it was a close as it gets with Gangi Jr. crossing in first place by 0.047 seconds. On Sunday, Gangi Jr. would again have to drive himself forward in the prefinal, this time from seventh place on the gird. At the line it was the fourth spot and a tricky outside row two starting spot for the final. In the final it was all Anthony Jr. as he quickly went to the lead and battled the front group through out the race. Several drivers looked to take point during the session, but in the final lap skirmish it was Gangi Jr. taking the win by 0.910 seconds, for a second straight win to kick off the 2011 campaign.

"Starting off with two wins is awesome. You can't ask for anything more," comments Anthony Jr. "Our PSL Karting CRG Big Al chassis is so amazing. Chris (Perez) gave me a fantastic kart all weekend. Special thanks to Jon (Nevoso) for his help this weekend."

The G7 Motorsports Team returns to the Florida Winter Tour on February 18th as the series heads to Palm Beach International Raceway for the rounds three and four of the Formula Kart Classes. As solid opening weekend has Gangi Jr. in the hunt in the Vortex TaG Cadet package where he sits in fourth spot in the championship points heading into the Palm Beach event. ANTHONY GANGI JR ENJOYS TWO SOLID TOP-FIVE FINISHES IN ORLANDO

The G7 Motorsports Team, along with team driver Anthony Gangi Jr., completed a solid opening weekend of the 2011 Florida Winter Tour running in the Vortex TaG Cadet. Running at the Orlando Kart Center the G7 Motorsports team was excited to leave behind the cold of New York State for some warm Florida sun. On hand to support the program was tuner and coach Chris Perez. Gangi Jr. piloted the amazing PSL Karting CRG Big Al chassis that was so dominant in 2010. The goal was to log laps on the tricky permanent parking lot track and shake out all the bugs in advance of the opening round of Rotax action.

"Overall it was a pretty good weekend against some really strong drivers," comments Anthony Gangi Sr. "I think we should have been a bit crisper on track and we will address that before this week. We know we left some speed out there for sure."

In Saturday round one action four was the magic number. Anthony Jr. would go fourth in timed warm up and then qualify in the fourth spot. That was followed by fourth place in the prefinal along with setting fast lap. In the final, that’s right, Anthony Jr. just missed the podium taking fourth at the line. On Sunday the 2010 National Champion was sixth in the morning warm-up and then would go to P5 in timed qualifying. In the prefinal Gangi Jr. would get back one spot to cross in fourth place. In the final, after tough battle, the 9-year-old racer grabbed a second top five finish to hit the flag in fifth place. Overall on the weekend the team stayed in the top five in seven of eight sessions in the 23-kart field, the largest in the opening Formula Kart weekend.

"Getting back into the Micro-Max this weekend will be great," comments Anthony Jr. "We ran Vortex at the SuperNats, then Comer and Yamaha at WKA and now Vortex at FWT. I really want to get into my Rotax kart."

ANTHONY GANGI JR AMPED FOR 2011 FLORIDA WINTER TOUR

The G7 Motorsports Team, along with team driver Anthony Gangi Jr., are back in the sunshine state of Florida to take on the opening weekend of the 2011 Florida Winter Tour Formula Kart classes. The three-weekend, six-race series will open in Orlando in January followed by Palm Beach International Race in February and Ocala Gran Prix in March. The G7 Motorsports team heads back down the US East coast from their New York state base after a tough battle against Mother Nature and the competition at the recent World Karting Association Manufacturers Cup Kart Week held at Daytona International Speedway. After several delayed flights, the team jumped in their car and made a beeline south to Daytona. Missing the entire practice day, Anthony Jr. had to jump straight into qualifying in his first trip to Kart Week and the Daytona Kart Track.

"It was crazy. We had three flights out of JFK canceled and we were literally counting down the minutes as to when we were jumping into the car," comments Anthony Gangi Sr. "We had to bail on the airline and make the 20-hour straight drive to the track. We got there just in time to go out for qualifying. It was beyond belief. But we made it and that was the important part."

Gangi Jr. will hit the track in the Vortex TaG Cadet class as he returns to the series that saw so much success in 2010. The 2010 SKUSA SuperNationals was the first race for the National Champion in the Vortex powered package and young pilot was able to grab pole position for the Super Sunday Main event. While some rough driving didn’t give Anthony Jr. the result he had hoped for, the team knows they have the right setup to take race wins. Again in 2011 Gangi Jr. will pilot the amazing PSL Karting CRG Big Al chassis that was so dominant in 2010. The G7 Motorsports Team has been testing with Mike Doty Racing over the past few months in preparation for their rookie season in Vortex TaG Cadet class.

"I am so excited to be back at the Florida Winter Tour," comments Anthony Jr. "I like the Vortex class and I know we can run well. Working with Chris (Perez), Mike (Doty) and Jon (Nevoso) is a lot of fun and I am looking for a great opening weekend."
